As the Marketing Intern at the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce I have many jobs. On any given week you could find me writing blogs, designing social media posts, crafting an email marketing newsletter, editing photos, putting together city reports, meeting business owners, and more. Some of the bigger projects I have done at the chamber so far are designing the poster and theme for the Patience in Pinellas campaign, publishing some fun blogs, and The women who run the chamber have allowed me to step into many marketing and communication roles and I have gained lots of new knowledge about building and maintaining positive relationships with a business as well as navigating larger media presences.
TAMPA BAY BEACHES CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
My position in the Marketing and Communications department at Eckerd college started with some busier work like posting events on the website, managing social media statistics, and writing up the weekly online newsletter. In the nearly three years I have spent here though, I have earned my way into projects like designing and executing an entire earth week campaign, creating new web pages on the official site, writing articles and press releases, and designing infographics/social posts for the official Eckerd social medias. This job has been a great way to learn about working both individually and in a team, and the skill of being able to both come up with original ideas and executing them successfully.
ECKERD COLLEGE MARCOMM
MEDIA RELATIONS ASSISTANT
At CallRevu, my job as the marketing and design intern was to help pick up the slack of a very busy marketing department. Whatever work did not take immediate priority of the head graphic designer got sent to me to complete. These projects included everything from tweaking of old marketing materials to creating a series of company posters. A majority of my work was creating marketing materials for a new product or collaboration in the company, but even that encompassed infographics, flyers and one-sheeters to describe a new product.

COMMUNITY MEDIA CENTER
Most of my job as the Carroll County Community Media Center's graphic design intern was to design these powerpoint slide style promotions for local events. These slides would then be aired on the local television channel to advertise those events within the community. As well as creating over 50 of these ads, I also assisted coworkers with photoshop skills and designed a logo (and style sheet) for one of their new organizations, "Carroll helping Carroll".
