My small business collecting shells from Florida's Gulf coast and creating unique jewelry and other ocean inspired items with them.
I couldn't even walk when I first touched the ocean, and as soon as I could walk, you would always find me searching for shells during our family vacations to Myrtle Beach. Eighteen years later I went to college right by the beach in Florida, and shelling became not only an addictive pastime, but also a fantastic stress reliever. Recently my shellf (shell-shelf!) has been overflowing, so I needed to find another purpose for my collection-worthy shells.
Now, in my free time I enjoy creating all sorts of jewelry and art out of the treasures I find, and I have just as much fun continuing to develop the Collect & Create brand! I designed the Collect & Create logo, run the @collectandcreate_fl Instagram account, manage the marketing and sales for my shop, and more.
